I started Bob's Best Buys in mid January 2009 to help buyers determine what is a good value in today's market. Since then 75% of the properties showcased in this ad have sold within the first two weeks they were placed on the market. Not all best buys MUST be Foreclosures or Short Sales because properly informed and motivated sellers are aware of these properties and will adjust their prices to be competitive.

The current real estate market is challenging...prices have dropped...buyers and sellers are viewing homes that are in foreclosure or are being marketed as "short sales". However not ALL "best buys" fall into that category.

As a 25 year+ veteran real estate broker in Santa Barbara, I have experienced this type of market before. This market is not new and we will work through it.

The purpose of this service is to provide buyers with Santa Barbara´s most current weekly information on the "best buys" or better yet, "best values" using my experience of evaluating properties, thus saving buyers time and effort. Every week I preview 20-30 properties (homes, condos and residential income) and some of these will have the potential of becoming the weekly pick for "Bob´s Best Buys." These may also include properties that have been on the market for awhile but have had a recent price and/or condition adjustment.

Each week I will provide a diversified, short list of currently marketed properties regardless of which company has the listing. Value is value no matter who is marketing it.
